Emmanuelle finds special beauties in the architecture of Peranakan shophouses in Singapore. With their ornate details and vibrant colours, she feels they encapsulate the love of finery between mingling cultures we could see in the way of life during Singapore’s pre-war years.

About the artist

Emmanuelle likes making art using oil paint, charcoal and Photoshop. She enjoys painting landscapes and nature. She loves illustrating animals too!
