Singaporeans to Receive SG60 Vouchers in Celebration of Nation's 60 Years of Nation-Building from 1 July 2025
1 July 2025
As Singapore marks its 60th year of independence, the SG60 Vouchers are introduced to recognise the contributions of all Singaporeans and to share the benefits of our nation's progress. This initiative is a part of the broader SG60 Package announced at Budget 2025.
All adult Singaporeans aged between 21 and 59 in 2025 will receive $600 SG60 Vouchers, while Singaporeans aged 60 and above in 2025 will receive $800, in appreciation of their long-standing contributions to Singapore’s growth and success.
The vouchers will be rolled out in two phases. From 1 July 2025, 10am, Singaporeans aged 60 and above (born in 1965 or earlier) can begin claiming their vouchers. Adult Singaporeans aged 21 to 59 (born between 1966 and 2004) can claim the vouchers from 22 July 2025, 10am. This staggered approach ensures seniors receive timely dedicated assistance that they may need to claim their vouchers.
Voucher amounts and claim periods
Eligible Singaporeans | Vouchers Amount | Claim Period |
---|---|---|
Born in 1965 or earlier | $800 | From 1 July 2025 |
Born between 1966 and 2004 | $600 | From 22 July 2025 |
The SG60 Vouchers can be used at all businesses that accept CDC Vouchers. Half of the SG60 Vouchers will be allocated for spending at participating heartland merchants and hawkers, while the other half will be allocated for spending at participating supermarkets island wide.
The SG60 Vouchers is a whole-of-government initiative led by Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry & Culture, Community and Youth, Chairman of the Mayors' Committee, and Mayor of South West District; Mr Baey Yam Keng, Mayor of North East District; Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Mayor of South East District; Ms Denise Phua Lay Peng, Mayor of Central Singapore District; Mr Alex Yam, Mayor of North West District; and the CDC Vouchers Implementation Committee including the People’s Association, Ministry of Finance, GovTech, IMDA and its Singapore Digital Office (SDO) and Enterprise Singapore.
Release of the SG60 Vouchers
On 1 July 2025, Prime Minister announced the release of the SG60 Vouchers through his social media.
Singaporeans at the Heart of SG60
The SG60 Vouchers place Singaporeans at the heart of the nation’s 60th birthday celebrations, honouring the contributions each citizen has made to Singapore’s journey and achievements.
Reflecting the inclusive spirit of SG60, the vouchers come with six specially designed postcards created by artists with different abilities.
Singaporeans will each receive one of these postcards by mail. Those aged 60 and above (born in 1965 or earlier) will receive their postcards from 1 July, while those aged 21 to 59 (born between 1966 and 2004) will receive theirs from 22 July.
The claim and spend process for SG60 Vouchers is similar to that of CDC Vouchers, and they are distributed digitally for convenience and security. Upon claiming the vouchers, each Singaporeans will receive an SMS link from SenderID “gov.sg”.
Assistance for seniors and those who need help to claim the digital vouchers will be readily available at Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) and SG Digital Community Hubs. The Community Development Councils (CDCs) are collaborating with Public Service Division (PSD), youth and student volunteers to guide residents through the claiming process. In the first two weeks of the launch, about 200 volunteers from public agencies and school institutions such as ITE College West, Nanyang Polytechnic, and Tampines Meridian JC will be stationed at selected CCs, assisting residents alongside CDC Ambassadors.
SDO Digital Ambassadors will be present at all CCs throughout July 2025 to help residents claim their digital vouchers while the Silver Infocomm Wellness Ambassadors will be at selected CCs to assist residents in the first week of July 2025. In addition, SDO will conduct daily SG60 Vouchers Learning Journeys at selected CCs to equip residents with hands-on knowledge on how to use their vouchers effectively. Beyond this period, Singaporeans can continue to pick up digital skills for daily living, including redeeming SG60 Vouchers, through SDO’s Digital Ambassadors at over 30 SG Digital Community Hubs and more than 200 roving counters island wide.
Benefitting Heartland Businesses and Strengthening the Local Economy
Even as we appreciate the contributions of Singaporeans, the SG60 Vouchers, like CDC Vouchers will also benefit heartland merchants and hawkers who remain vital pillars of our neighbourhoods. By encouraging spending at local shops and eateries, the scheme not only supports small businesses but also helps strengthen community ties and sustain the heartbeat of our local economy.
The CDCs continue to work closely with merchants to onboard them to the scheme and ensure seamless transactions. Participating businesses are marked by the signature CDC Voucher decals — teal for hawkers and heartland merchants, and yellow for supermarkets.
Residents can visit go.gov.sg/sg60voucher to find nearby participating merchants and learn more about how to claim and spend their SG60 vouchers.

Longer Validity Period
There is no need to rush to claim the SG60 vouchers as they are reserved specifically for every eligible Singaporean. In addition, the SG60 Vouchers will have a longer validity period until 31 December 2026. It allows Singaporeans to stretch their vouchers across daily needs while continuing to support heartland businesses.
